"The Dreamer Sleeps without Dreaming" 2 Literary Chapters Adapted for the Screen [The Rough Cuts]
Author and screenwriter Jonathan Harnisch adapted the following two films.
Both are rough cuts, which later received countless accolades, honors and worldwide distribution by Shorts International entitled "On the Bus" and "Wax," respectfully.
This video serves as a new medium from the literary material, originally scribed by Harnisch at New York University’s Film School in the 1990s.
In their current revisions, both movies merely begin to resemble their final products. As rough cuts the films do not flow well and will still undergo many changes prior to their releases.
Harnisch personally finds these rough cuts his favorites while keeping their content intact from two different chapters from the literature series due out for publication in late 2013 through 2014.
With the advent of digital video editing software and non-linear editing systems (NLE), these two omissions have since gone through a number of revisions between shooting on videotape in 2008 and broadcast on television in early 2013.
The following rough cuts have since been digitized, logged and assembled, incorporating offline effects and online editing.
Dubbing also known as re-recording included Additional Dialogue Recording, or Automated Dialogue Replacement (ADR) whereby certain actors had re-recorded lines spoken during principal photography resulting in improved audio quality and thus reflecting dialogue changes and music.
