Targa New Zealand is a motorsport event company that organizes the best closed road races on public (tarmac) roads. All of our events are based on the North Island of New Zealand. The 2012 Targa Bambina (2-day event) held in March was based around the Coromandel district.
This year's Targa Bambina started in Drury south of Auckland on Saturday morning and finished at Onewhero in the northern Waikato on Sunday afternoon with an overnight stop in Whitianga on Saturday night.
There were 15 special stages covering a total distance of 253.3km with the shortest stage Hikutaia near Paeroa at just 8.38km, and the longest, Rotongaro/Glenmurray in the northern Waikato at 35.70kms
