The video was shot in a single day in Boulder, Colorado. With the help of Ross McCall of White Board Entertainment on the camera, we scurried all across Boulder for the scenic shots. The Valmont bike park had a great vibe that day, and lots of folks willing to help us out. The pole dancer is our friend Vivienne Palmer, who is not a professional pole-dancer in the traditional sense, but she sure can ride a pole! Check out her blog at Verticalviv.com. The shot we missed that we really wished we had gotten? Racing the bike mower at short track (it was canceled due to smoke from fires). The movie was shot using a hand-held camcorder as well as a point-and-shoot camera. The edits were made using imovie. Low budget indeed. The soundtrack was a point of debate. The classic Band of Horses music, made famous by Danny Macaskill's revolutionary trials/flow bike video, was, in the end, a clear choice for it's great sound, dramatic overtones, and thoughtful irony.
