Barby Asante, Ania Bas, Delaine Le Bas, Kieron Hatton, Annabel Tremlett and Amy Lloyd chaired by Oliver Sumner discuss the outcomes of a day long seminar on 27 October. Funded by LCP via Interreg IV and made possible by the support of the University of Portsmouth, the conference was an opportunity for Social Work students and artists to get together to discover the parallels and differences between their two forms of practice.
Claire Bishop is an Associate Professor in the Ph.D. Program in Art History at The Graduate Center, The City University of New York, and an internationally recognized scholar and curator of contemporary art. Her critical work focuses on socially engaged art and theories of spectatorship.
