“At the table, we find life through Jesus dying, but not just life from Jesus –- also life with Jesus as he continues his ministry,” Kendall said. “At the table, the whole gospel offers the whole solution for all that’s gone wrong.”
Roberts explained how he has made contacts and formed partnerships in Muslim countries and Vietnam. He has become a friend of Muslims, Buddhists and Communists without compromising His evangelical Christian beliefs.
“People aren’t going to come to Christ unless we explain it to them, unless we have a relationship with them,” Roberts said.
“When I travel around, I’m excited about what I see, and sometimes I’m concerned. I am cautiously optimistic. I’m cautious because sometimes I see that we don’t take full advantage of the things that we could, but I’m optimistic. Everywhere we go, we see God at work in incredible ways.”
