A film about an innovative and resourceful woman who transformed the way we engage with history.
Dr I.F. Grant founded Britain's first 'living history' museum in 1935 in the Free Church on Iona. Faced with the apathy of the establishment to the fast disappearing Highland way of life, she resolved to sell her home and found a museum dedicated to the collection and display of Highland artefacts which she named Am Fasgadh - The Shelter.
