In this special extended edition Representative Morgan offers one participant’s perspective on the 2016 legislative session. She comments on the good, bad and ugly of it. Regarding the way the session ended, Morgan notes that it was “beyond foolish” and there “is no excuse for such a late night session,” which extended into the early morning hours of the next day. Many topics were discussed. Morgan characterized the budget process as “a flawed process.” Other topics included economic incentives, ethics reform, legislative grants, marijuana legislation, truck tolls, line item veto, Superman building, gun control legislation and more.
