At the onset, Block tackles the inevitable political party question regarding his acceptability as a Republican candidate. His answer goes to the core of his candidacy. His acceptability is confirmed in a recent Brown University poll which places him statically even with his primary opponent. Block is straightforward in his answers to important question regarding education; HealthSource RI; reduction of sales tax; 38 Studios bond payments; gambling revenues; and many other key issues and concerns. On job creation, Block points out that government does not produce jobs; business does. Therefore, government needs to create an environment where business can grow and prosper without unnecessary government interference.
