1. Some video from The Sandy Ranch in Fredericksburg, Texas. Shot the weekend of May 2nd, 2009 with a Panasonic HMC-150.

    The video starts with some Painted Buntings which were hanging around the bird feeders all week. Then we get to see Peter's car being towed away after he destroyed his oil pan on the dirt road getting there. Most of the remaining footage is of our hike around the property when the waterfalls were flowing nicely. At the end is a baby Red Tailed Hawk in his nest. Momma-Hawk keeps flying off before I can get good shots of her.

  3. Slow motion of the Ruby Throated Hummingbird in the Texas Hill Country. Shot with a HMC150.

    I found that the best shutter speed for hummingbirds is 1/250th because there's a strobing effect at that speed that makes the wings appear to almost stand still or move very slowly.
