  2. Windows and other photo images from the sanctuary of Grace Covenant Presbyterian Church (GCPC), Overland Park, KS. Music by the Praise Team of GCPC, Donna Goeckler, soloist. Recorded Sunday, August 25 during the 8:50 am service.

This recording is dedicated to my spiritual mother, Sue Ann Seneker, who passed away on Sunday, August 17, 2014. She was a pianist/organist for numerous churches in her community. For pleasure she also sang in church and community choirs and turned down an invitation to sing back up with Herb Alpert and the Tijuana Brass to raise her children. Sue was also an artist and her most well-known work is the painting of Jesus, which hangs in the Ozark Prairie Presbyterian Church. She was a fierce woman of God who taught Sunday school, was a Bible study and youth group leader, and especially enjoyed her prison and jail ministries. She will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her three daughters, Sheri Gabbert, Eve Kemple, and Lesli Gabbert as well as her extended family and the many lives she touched in her faith journey. Love you, Ma. - Donna

  5. "Grateful" sung by Donna Goeckler, November 25, 2012 at Grace Covenant Presbyterian Church. Accompanist, Denice Trawicki.

    Grateful by John Bucchini

I've got a roof over my head
I've got a warm place to sleep
Some nights I lie awake counting gifts
    Instead of counting sheep

I've got a heart that can hold love
I've got a mind that can think
There may be times when I lose the light
    And let my spirits sink
    But I can't stay depressed
When I remember how I'm blessed

    Grateful, grateful
    Truly grateful I am
    Grateful, grateful
    Truly blessed
    And duly grateful

    In a city of strangers
I've got a family of friends
No matter what rocks and brambles fill the way
I know that they will stay in the end

I feel a hand holding my hand
It's not a hand you can see
But on the road to the promised land
    This hand will shepherd me
    Through delight and despair
    Holding tight and always there

    Grateful, grateful
    Truly grateful I am
    Grateful, grateful
    Truly blessed
    And duly grateful

    It's not that I don't want a lot
Or hope for more, or dream of more
But giving thanks for what I've got
Makes me so much happier than keeping score

In a world that can bring pain
I will still take each chance
For I believe that whatever the terrain
Our feet can learn to dance
    Whatever stone life may sling
We can moan or we can sing

    Grateful, grateful
    Truly grateful I am
    Grateful, grateful
    Truly blessed
    And duly grateful
