This asset was created from concept to realtime deployment in UDK Engine. This turntable focuses on the assets that have been designed, modelled, and textured by yours truly in 3DS Max. It is used in a project called "Wastes", a post-apocalyptic shelter interior. It is created as a way to showcase our artistic vision using a game arts pipeline. Our team of five student artists designed the game environment within five weeks for pre-production and conceptual schematics, five weeks for production, and a week for post-production and cinematics.
This Babel playable demo was created over the course of one month, although narrative writing and design consultation preceded this. Babel is a first-person psychological exploration game, and is inspired by Hong Kong's cultures and fast-paced momentum. It is set in its dense and vertical urban environments, where culture shock and lucid dreams are endemic.
Solace State is a coming-of-age story about a young woman's reunions across a troubled hotbed of ideological dissent. Set in a near-future surveillance state, building social consensus and political identities can mean the difference between a peaceful resistance or the forced acceptance of an unjust fate. Above all, this is a story where a player can build bridges and friendships, or play the game of politics much more aggressively. Solace State is a 3D interactive novel, set to be made in Unity 3D for PC (other platforms to be announced).
