  2. This simulation with 8000 cubes uses the dynamica bullet plugin for maya.
    Finally I was able to fix the problem with mental ray motion vectors. I used the Maya Software Renderer instead for computing motion vectors.
    The final version should only be some small steps away.

  4. A short test with ~ 2000 cubes/dices that form a planet using Maya nParticles with self collision, geometry instances and force field generation. Took me a lot of testing to get this result.

  5. 1st try of a terraformed mars. Camera is in no way final, just a fast "fly by". Mars texture was created with Photoshop. Animation, Modelling and Rendering with Maya and mental ray.
    The lens flare has been added with Digital Fusion using an fbx import of the maya scene.
