  3. Improvised dance piece.
    Dance: Hilde Elbers.
    Music: Roberto Garretón.

    Tilburg, Netherlands, January 2014

"This is a improvised interactive solo about desire and open, intimate, vulnerable, powerful contact. And all the hidden desires that are under the skin when we see each other.
I dance for and with ore in between the audience,
They are my partners, my reason for movement.
They are invited to participate, come and dance with me. We dont rehearse before, it develops in the moment itself."

    Text:
    "She is Kali
    She is driven and brutal
    Making physical all that is
    Dangerous, tragic, and subdued
    There’s something to be said
To the sound of the undercurrent
    Mystery reveals
    Stories
    That need to be spoken
    At this very moment
    She is ready to pound
And claw her nails in the dirt
    To bark and howl
    And hover in despair
    She will cross the line
    And dive under
    To meet the wild animal
    She invites you
    Challenges you
    Calm
    Persistent
    Loving
    And bold."
