    Rob and Lynsey
    Bringing the outside in.

    Saturday 21st July 2012
    Spetchley Park

We couldn’t possibly be more excited to share todays wedding, our first full wedding since the humble beginnings of Suhaav. Rob and Lynsey approached me a few months before the wedding to help style their big day and create the wow factor. So what happens when the CEO of brand agency who has an eye for quirky illustration marries a stunning brunette with an eye for classic beauty? They wanted to bring the outside in, and when I arrived at Spetchley Park I understood exactly why.

Rob and Lynsey tied the knot on the 21st July this year surrounded by friends and family, at a small church with family ties before heading over the simply stunning Spetchley Park & Gardens on what turned out to be one of the most beautiful summer days we have seen this year.

Suhaav helped Rob and Lynsey reflect their creativity and personalities into every aspect of their wedding, a fun and quirky couple surrounded by loving family and friends the big day was a huge success. Working with me to create the perfect theme, they were able to throw around ideas and leave Suhaav to create the magic. Right up to the wedding day they were able to relax, as we moved into Spetchley Park styled, dressed, and coordinated everything from the table to the magnificent floral centerpieces.

    The Details
Having spent a lot of time getting to know the lovely Rob & Lynsey over many a coffee, I was able to not only create the wow factor, but also bring the beautiful and quirky personality of the couple out in every small detail.

    Flowers
Possibly, our most challenging floral centerpiece to date, Rob and Lynsey wanted flowers, but a wild natural look, combined with something huge and eye catching to bring the marquee to life. We worked with tall thin elegant vases, with a floating display of some of the couple’s favourite flowers to create these stunners. As guests sat down leaving the large floral display from their eye line, we dressed the tables with a selection of hand-embellished bottles filled with delicate flowers including peonies and lysanthius. Getting the flowers unique and perfectly matched to what Rob and Lynsey were hoping for was probably one of our longest tasks but seeing their larger than life reactions on the day, made it all worth while, and with some serious hours of flower arranging we were very happy to get it perfect.

    Cake
Using some stunning hydrangeas we were able to carry on the simple floral theme, and bringing the outside in, to the cake table. We finished the table by using flowers, and rustic wooden props to bring a warm garden feel to the cake ceremony.

When you style a wedding for the CEO of a leading brand agency, who has a love for illustration, one thing is for sure there is going to be some great artwork! We work with Rob and the design team at ORB to incorporate their gorgeous graphics into the favours, place cards, and lots of detail throughout the day.
    Favours
He loved jelly sweets, she loved hand-baked goodies. So, with hand made, hand tied burlap bags with bespoke designed illustrated tags, we had some very unique favours for all of the guests. Jelly treats for the boys, and cookies for the girls!
    Place Cards
Rob and Lynsey love their gastro, having enjoyed many a classic gastro pub over the years, they included tiny details of their personality everywhere. We sourced some rustic corks, each one completely unique and slotted in the place cards!
    Wishing Tree
Handmade tags by us, illustration by ORB, olive ribbon and a rustic wooden tree = the perfect guest book. With the sun beaming down, guest grabbed some funky design inspired felt pens and left their wishes for the happy couple and hung them on the tree – a great way for Rob and Lynsey to remember the big day over a drink, once they put their feet up.

We were lucky enough to see the initial reactions of the happy couple, and some of the guests, what a lucky and blessed position to be in, creating magic and memories for someone’s big day. Continuous kind words from them and other guests have made me realise that this was the perfect career change and one that I am definitely in for the long run!

From Rob: ‘Well, what can I say. I think that Lyns and I were speechless when we saw what you had achieved. Simply amazing’

Every detail in this blog has a personal touch with a story of beautiful people, and their love. Here is a little moment for me to share my story, the video was created by my brothers and great friends at Cineture, who have supported me every step of the way since I can remember, not only do they do great photography & videography, but I wouldn’t be here without them. To all my friends and family, who support me on the journey of following my dreams, thank you! The music to my video is the instrumental to a beautiful song that sums it all up for me, as I step closer to my own wedding and my new journey: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OHkvan-NFnM enjoy!
