Is it about fairies and pixies and the course of true love not running smoothly?
Or is it about getting off your face – so off your face that you end up f**king a donkey… ?
Forget the romantic fairytale, Loose Canon is ripping A Midsummer Night’s Dream to shreds, exposing a sordid nightmare of lust, rejection, manipulation and self-denial - a darkly comic re-imaging of Shakespeare’s classic tale for the 21st Century.
Nyree and Brian set themselves a challenge: to collect photographs from all around the world from fellow Hipsters that they met and liked. They want to show Dublin what the rest of our world has to offer and, at the same time, celebrate all things Hipster. Fringe regulars The Company (Who is Fergus Kilpatrick?, As You Are Now So Once Were We) dazzle again this year with a brand new show unlike anything you’ve ever seen them do before. Become a Hipster for the day, at a candlelit performance with Vodka on the house (served in a jam jar, obvs). This ‘too cool for skool’ 45 minute performance piece will leave you more trendy than before, more excited about photography than before, and if you want, even slightly tipsy.
The Company are part of PROJECT CATALYST, an initiative of Project Arts Centre.
For those who enjoy the hipster-poking of the blogosphere, from the hipsters who brought you some of our biggest hits over the past 3 years – Róise.
