The more Beth and I get involved with Habitat, the more we learn about them.... enter the Habitat Restore! On it's face, the Habitat Restore seems to be very similar to the Salvation Army or Goodwill. But what separates them is the fact that not only do they carry furniture, home decor, but also fixtures, appliances, tile and flooring... basically just about everything you would need to fully furnish a new home. These items come from donations and collections from homes that are set to be demolished.
What makes the Habitat Restore an even better resource, is that all of the money goes right back to fund Habitat projects; creating a cyclical and self-sustaining business like Habitat truly unique.
