Produced and Directed by Marc Bencivenga of Clutch Monkey, this short documentary focuses on the rough and two-wheel-tumble life of local Santa Rosan Steve Leandro and his shop S&J Motorcycles. Marc was able to uncover some Super 8 footage from 1974 of the 'Run To the Redwoods", which Steve was a part of, and some 1972 Super 8 footage of the influences in Steve's life to create a film that acknowledges Steve's humble beginings and honors his current impact on future vintage chopper loving generations. Except for the riding shots and old Super 8, this film was shot on the iPhone 4.

Flustered by the presence of super smooth biker "Smokey", Foo Man Lou attempts to kick start his new chopper. Frustrated with Foo Man's failed attempts and lack of finesse, Smokey has just about had it until a visit from the divine changes Foo Man Lou forever.
Ever wonder what happens when a few hundred bike riders with an insatiable taste for fire, beer and mayhem ride hand-built choppers across twisty, pitted tarmac from SoCal to Baja and back? The El Diablo Run gives freedom-lovers a chance to go places and do things that are simply not possible at home in the USA. Follow this eclectic band of Diablo runners as they comb the beaches, brothels and back alleys of San Felipe and Ensenada on a quest for cheap tacos, loose women and good times.
Full DVD available from Lowbrow Customs for $24.99 and includes a separate CD with the complete soundtrack and a 24-page photo book with pics from all previous EDR's. http://tinyurl.com/7rlng9p
Up the coast, north out of Ensenada. Me in front, Third Reich Eric, Oklahoma Chris, New York Jeff (from CN) and Keith Mulligan filming from behind. Just a snappy digital camera zip tied to the bed roll of his Thruxton.
