This summer I had a chance to travel the amazing surf coast in Victoria (Australia) and create another video as a follow up to the Melbourne HDR Timelapse. The weather has been absolutely wild - as always in Victoria and so some really nice shots were born.
As for some stats: The whole timelapse took two months to make, 96 320 shots were taken, 6 000km travelled, visited countless amazing places, met some really nice people, feel in love with Geelong, got really scared by roaring animals at night in the bush and injured my shoulder from hiking with the heavy gear.
Equipment used: Canon 5d mark iii, Sigma 12-24mm f/4.5-5.6, Canon 24-105mm f4, Canon 24mm f1.4, Dynamic Perception Stage One slider, Merlin Telescope Head.
Many thanks to The Study Abroad and Exchange Office of Deakin Uni for all the support with this video!

Please watch this Melbourne timelapse in HD with sound :)
In Melbourne we have a saying "If you don't like the weather, just wait a moment..."
I love this great city, you never know what to wear,
but making this timelapse and getting rained on five times a day was pretty fun.
I wonder if you guys can tell all the places in this video... :)
A project at Deakin University in Melbourne, shot mostly on Canon 5D mark iii with a Canon 14mm f2.8 lens.
Movement in the timelapses done using the Kessler CineSlider and the Oracle Controller.

This short film is my final bachelor thesis... I wanted to make something special that would have a meaning other than "just" to tell a story... with a very special secret that might make you see some people differently... don't tell anyone, so they can enjoy the film too :) btw. since there is some fiction and some factual reality, might leave it in the narrative category...
Tento krátký film je mou závěrečnou bakalářskou prací... chtěl jsem jím říct něco víc, než jen "obyčejný" příběh...ten film má jedno velké tajemství, které Vám možná posune perspektivu vnímání lidí kolem sebe... ten konec si nechte pro sebe, ať si to ostatní taky můžou užít :)
