The 2012 and 2013 BEST RP Bar uses a self-tightening double stopper knot to fix both sides of the double depower rope to the bottom of the trim strap. This short animation shows you how to tie that knot.
To update the swivel on your 2013 RP-Bar you will need the following tools. A sharp craft knife, a marker pen, a pair of needle nose/bent nose pliers, and either a lighter or a source of boiling water to apply the heat required to shrink the heat-shrink tube included in the swivel replacement kit. If you use a lighter be sure not to melt your depower rope. If you require any assistance please contact your local dealer or bestkiteboarding.com directly.
Learn how to install the new 2014 Mercury pad/strap from Best Kiteboarding.
