Many people today believe that all religions are true. They believe that all religions are different paths to get to the same place of salvation and an eternal life in heaven. But the fact is that many religions disagree on many doctrines and views of life and often their views are opposite. Not all cannot be true on the same issue and at the same time be opposite.
Let us make it clear that the NIV Bible and the KJV are both authorized version of the Christian Holy Bible and used by Evangelicals. The NIV is thought of by many to be the most accurate translation of the Holy Bible. The Scripture translations may be different in wordings but meanings and doctrines are the same--no change over time. NIV--New International Version and KJV--King James Version (NKJV--New King James Version).
Cain married his sister or possibly a niece. The Bible says that Adam "begat man sons and daughter" Gen 5:4. Adam lived for 930 years (Gen. 5:5) so he had plenty of time to have many sons and daughters. It was only up until Leviticus 18:9 that brothers could not marry sisters.
See Matthew 2:2 where the Bible talks about astrology and the Magi is commended for following the star to find Jesus Christ.. The Bible condemns the use of astrology (in Lev. 19:26, it says, “Do not practice divination or seek omens.” There are similar statements in Deut. 18:10 and Isa. 8:19). The star guiding the Magi was not used to predict, but to proclaim the birth of Christ.
One of the Scripture used by some Christian groups to support their claim that Jesus is less than God is John 14:28. In this Scripture, Jesus himself says, “May Father is greater than I.” Now orthodox Christianity confesses that Jesus is both fully man and fully God.
