The fractalforums.com member fracmonk has been posting some exploratory Fractint formulas, one of which has been generalized by Mark Eggleston (user name element90) and given the inscrutable name Cczcpaczcp. I've taken this formula and done one of my parameter walks through a range of values, using a Lissajous curve as my guide. After producing a rough draft animation, I then excerpted an interesting segment and rendered the frames in greater detail using 2x2 anti-aliasing. Also, for the first time I've changed the software used to render the final animation. This has removed the huge black border that I was always getting, and, more importantly, it appears to have fixed the dropped frames that I was getting with Windows Movie Maker and its inability to come up with frame lengths that exactly equal 1/30 of a second.
This Vimeo upload has superior quality to what I can get on YouTube. Yay!
