This Time lapse was filmed between May 2012 to May 2013. The overall goal of this time lapse is to provide the beauty of Joshua trees that only live in the U.S. I thought it would be amazing If I can collect all the footages of Joshua trees with different weather condition like snowing , different type of clouds, sun, moon ,milky way,and meteor shower.
Joshua trees only live in western Arizona, southeastern California, southern Nevada, and southwestern Utah, which means that we can't see this trees in different countries but only in America.
When I started this project, I read it on wiki page that "Joshua trees are one of the species predicted to have their range reduced and shifted by climate change. There is some concern that they will be eliminated from Joshua Tree National Park and that this will damage and fundamentally transform the ecosystem of the park." After I read it, I thought it would be a good idea to record the beautiful Joshua trees before it is reduced or it might be gone from the park. Over the last year I was so happy and passionate making this project. now I would like to share my work with you guys.
The equipment I used for this project
Camera : canon 5d mark III
Lens : EF 17-40mm f/4L USM, EF 24-70mm F2.8L USM, EF 135mm f/2L USM
All photos are taken with RAW files and I did post processing with LR time lapse, Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop.
I used After Effects and Premiere for editing.
