1. "Monochromatic Bursts of Color" was created using a collection of explosions sampled from Hollywood action films.

    Custom software was written (using openFrameworks) to search for bright fiery colors. The resulting shapes were transformed and used as a painterly material.

    "Monochromatic Bursts of Color" is a part of Action Painting, a series of video paintings composed using spectacular gestures from well known action film sequences.
