RGBdepth is a project realized for OFFF festival, design festival held in Barcelona, Spain.
OFFF is an entity in continuous transformation, alive and evolutionary that keeps being a reference design event throughout the world. The project consists of a series of interviews with the international guest speakers at OFFF festival 2013.
The project have been created using a cutting edge technique called RGBD, technique that combines the data from DSLR camera and the depth data from the Kinect.
Specials thanks to the RGBDtoolkit team that developed such an incredible tool for filmmakers all over the world and made it happen.
Also to mention the fantastic initiative by Moby called mobygratis- project that enables filmmakers working on no-profit films to use hundreds of incredible sound samples produced by Moby himself during his incredible career.
This project initiated by Mattia Bernini AKA visualaddicted, has only been possible thanks to the effort and technical support of a series of very talented designers.
Light Darkness Light is a documentary film that tracks the life-altering experience of a blind man or woman as they regain the ability to see. The film tracks a medical procedure known as an artificial retina implant, a revolutionary approach is utilizing unprecedented breakthroughs in bionics to restore sight to the blind for the first time in human history. Through pioneering camera techniques and intimate narrative storytelling, the film aims to provide audiences with an experiential journey through the process of losing sight and developing a new concept of vision.
