Permanent sound installation by O+A, Bruce Odland and Sam Auinger at MASSMoCA in North Adams MA transforms road noise from Highway overpass into a harmonic resonating sound intervention in the key of "C"/ Two 16 foot "Tuning tubes" on the highway bridge generate living overtone series in real time and feed two cement cube speakers beneath the bridge. The formerly forlorn area under the overpass now is a featured sound intervention, a harmonic cathedral in the urban "gothic" architecture of leftover space under the bridge. It forms a harmonic gateway between the museum and the town of North Adams.
