This is a video that I created for hip-hop artist, A-Jaxx. We filmed all the scenes in one day (a rather cold day don't let the sun and clear skies fool you). As far as locations and and selection of the actual song, this was a more collaborative process than the others which was good experience for me. After the filming was completed he left me to my creative devices as far as editing. I wanted to keep the laid-back hip-hop "feel" of the song which fits my style (that is kind of still developing since Im just re-entering the video field.)
Edited using Final Cut Pro 5 and finishing touches and effects using After Effects with a special appearance or two from Trapcode Particular (looking forward to the new version coming this summer)
This was one of 3 videos that I filmed before I relocated to the Atlanta, GA area.
DJ Premier was in the spot signing autographs & Talib Kweli showed up to do the same, but was dope enough to drop a nice freestyle for the fans in attendance @ Fat Beats for Record Store Day '09. Shouts to DJ JS-1, who was on 2 of the 4 turntables set up for the day! He held it down.
