  2. This was shot on the Canon HF-S10 Most the shots are slowed to anything from 50-70%. They were shot on a sunny day in Seattle Washington May 2009 and edited in Edius 5.01 I did some basic color work in EDIUS no outside plugins etc... Here is a version without Color work raw from the camera vimeo.com/5012633

OH... Just for Kicks I tried a little experiment. in Edius I edited this whole project directly off the native H.264 24mbps MTS files at 1920 x 1080 without converting them to a intermediary codec first. Yes that is correct MTS files on the time line. It was pretty unruly but nice to know it worked. I was rather bummed the other day at my dads house to find out FCP didn't have a way to import my MTS files once I had backed them off the camera and only copied the stream folder and not the logging info. How silly is that. I would think there must be something out their for FCP so it can just see MTS files or at least convert them. Nice to know Edius not only does all that but even edits them! they weren't even on my raid they where on a small 2.5" USB removal WD laptop drive.

Quad core extreme box with 4 Gigs and Nvidia 9800GTX (Nothing special by today's standards)

  4. This was shot from the window of the Fairmont Empress hotel in Victoria B.C. mid may. The shot was static about 30 minutes sitting in a tennis shoe aimed out a 6th story window. This was shot at 24mb (highest setting) auto everything except 'Vivid color". Then edited on Edius and accelerated about 8000% and some slight color treatment in Edius.

  5. Good evening people this is some first footage shot with a Canon HF-S10 in very mixed, low lighting conditions. This is Good Friday (even though it should be Good Thursday - Ok... that is a discussion for another time) service at my church (The Cornerstone in Anaheim CA) I shot this on a tripod (because I am the guy up at the piano) so it is all fixed in one position except for a little bit of extra footage I inserted. This little camera held together pretty well. Not to mention we are so blessed with a great church and incredible bunch of people involved in worship!
