"Journey Through the Jungle: A Fascinating Look at Life in the Rainforest" is on display through December 14th at CMU's Museum of Cultural and Natural History. The exhibit includes photos and displays of plants and animals that live in the rainforest, live critters and a display on rainforest conservation. The exhibit features a large children's section that includes a replica bat cave and tribal hut, passports for kids to earn stickers at each station they visit, and several hands-on activities.

A partnership between the English Department at Central Michigan University and the Art Reach Center of Mid Michigan, Wellspring Literary Series provides a forum for the community to hear the work of established and emerging regional writers as well as works-in-progress by CMU writing students and faculty writers. The Wellspring Literary Series also features music performed by students and faculty members from the CMU School of Music, as well as local musicians.
