This is a quick test with my anamorphic projection lens attached to the camera.
The lens is a 1.3x (I think) Runco branded Rainier conversion lens made to sit in front of a Runco Home theater projector. I have my BMC with my Tamron 17-5mm 2.8 @ 24mm stopped down to around 4 (not sure because of the BMC's lack of f-stop indicator).
Some random shots I have taken with the BlackMagic Cinema Camera. I Graded these in resolve.. but I am a complete novice when it comes to resolve, and these are really just me playing around with it. All the slider shots were stabelized, none of the handheld shots were. Some of the low light shots have had some NR applied in resolve as well.
I went to the zoo with my family, so I took the blackMagic Cinema Camera along.
The lenses I used:
Canon 70-300mm f/4-5.6 IS
Tamron 17-50mm 2.8 IS
I used IS on every shot, and used warp stabilization on 4 or 5 of the shots.
I had a monopod with me, but only used it about half of the time. most of this was hand held (naked camera, no rig).
I shot all of this in ProRes (Film) and graded with Colorista II in Premiere Pro.
