This is compilation of two clips from hive inspections in April and May 2010. In the first part, the bees are just getting started for the honey season. In the second part, May, the bees have capped the honey.
This video includes a late April and late May hive inspection. The first part of the video is a random butterfly that landed on me. That's followed by the April inspection. We did not capture any video of the super frames because they were still being drawn out and contained no nectar. A mid-May inspection (not taped) revealed drawn, nectar-filled, un-capped honey. Late May (on video) shows many capped honey frames.
