The Fabulous Ice Age chronicles a century of the great American touring ice shows revealing how they dominated live entertainment for decades and one skaters’ quest to save this history. Ice show pioneers, producers, stars and creatives reflect on the triumphs and tragedies of life on the road as the documentary introduces us to the people who performed on a stage of ice!

Inspired by Henie’s films, a young Roy Blakey, wrote away for his first ice show program and started a life-long collection of posters, programs, photographs, films, costumes and souvenirs which holds the key to the international path of this American success story. With never before seen footage, photos and rare archival material, “The Fabulous Ice Age” captures this glamorous history on film.
