  2. Filmed in the summer of 2011, 'the Decrepit' is a micro-budget project (less than $5k) that was made to provide an empowering voice to the people of the Downtown Eastside of Vancouver.

Too often these people are taken out of context and made to look as though they are 'human trash' by broadcasters and filmmakers.

Hear what these people have to say in the context which they intended.

Shout out to Brad Dyck for helping out with the sound and to the Vancouver Police Department: Beat Enforcement Team.

A very special thank you and shout out to Constable S. Lail, without him, this project would not have been possible.

  5. Through the story of an Afghan asylum seeker who won a historic victory at the European Court of Human Rights, this film shines a new light on the consequences of migration policies in the crisis-affected country of Greece.

"Dublin's Trap" gives an equal voice to politicians, intellectuals, activists, immigrants, and extremists. This approach highlights how austerity measures, combined with an unprecedented influx of immigrants, foster racial tensions, increased nationalism, and a humanitarian crisis at Europe's external borders.

Further aggravating the situation is an uneven EU repatriation mechanism known as Dublin II.

(The background photograph is of Kibera, the slums of Nairobi, Kenya. Homes in Kibera are shacks of corrugated metal, with no plumbing or electricity. 20,000 children in Kibera can't afford to attend public school, due to the cost of books and uniforms. HIV/AIDS devastates the community.)

It was supposed to be the year we finally shattered the glass ceiling. But a sharply split female electorate helped ensure that misogyny and sexism would live to see another day. In this 4x60’ docuseries, we watch as eight American women of opposing political, economic and cultural backgrounds explore the reasons behind their deepest and most visceral divisions, and what can be done to repair the rift. vimeo.com/203382661
