Froman was a paratrooper during the Six Day War, as well as the former Rabbi of the Knesset. Rabbi Froman is from the settler "Mayflower generation" but has followed his own path: meeting with Arafat and Hamas and endorsing a Palestinian state. Froman was known for the spiritual, musical, and kabalistic teachings he conducted in Tekoa in recent years.
