Lasă sufletul sălbatic, lasă-l să se zbată,
Printre îmbrăţişări, prin crăpăturile palmelor, atinge faţa,
Sărută chipul cu răbdare,
Gustă din livadă merele,
Fii stăpânul tău învins de către tine,
Consumă tot până te transformi,
Transformă-te până te doare,
Până ochii devin nori grei de ploaie,
Îndură furtuna, înghite potopul,
Dezbracă-te de haina udă,
Iubeşte amprentele ce ard îmbrăţişări
Iar sufletul lasă-l sălbatic
Let the savage soul flounder
Throughout arms, palm cracks touching the face
Taste the garden apples,
Be your own defeated master,
Consume ‘till transformation,
Transform ‘till it hurts,
Until eyes become heavy rain clouds,
Bearing storms, swallowing floods,
Take off the wet coat and
Love those fingerprints which burn embraces.
And the soul, leave it savage and floundering.
Multimedia Interactive Sound Installation-Performance about survival.
A double-walled labyrinth contains metal and paper elements which are connected to piezoelectric sensors. When these elements are touched by the members of the audience, their sound is amplified and retransmitted live. The performer, who is guiding the audience, wears four small speakers, incorporated in her costume. From these speakers, we can hear the voice of a woman who survived the Holocaust, singing. The recorded sound is distorted when the audience makes noise by touching the metal elements from the labyrinth. When there is silence, the sound is clean. When the audience and the performer reach the middle of the labyrinth, where there is no metal element to be touched and where, therefore, is silence the audience can hear from the speakers on the performance body the voice of the survival, narrating how she had survived the Holocaust, through singing.
This theatre-installation essay was inspired by the stories of the survivors of the Holocaust in Transylvania. Starting from one of these stories, we have created a sound installation-performance about surviving, about us, about us and the others.

One Fine Day (2012)
Written & Directed by Ingeun Kim
Produced by Red Carpet Spirit
‘One Fine Day (2012)’ is a short film depicting the daily life of a London based Korean artist. The film introduces Ilsu Hwang, whose everyday routines are illuminated via both compatible and confronting interactions he has with other people. Ingeun Kim, the film’s director, is himself a practicing artist in London and had his friends and acquaintances involved in the film, with whom his real life relationships were the source and inspiration for his characters in the film. His initial impulse to make video sketches of his friends at dinner parties may have been on the spur of the moment but it eventually bred and developed into a more genuine interest in filmmaking. With this film, he speaks about internal frustrations and emotional conflicts within and among Korean artists.
Uploaded 1,340 Plays 4 Likes 1 Comment
