Key art created for Metro Exodus, the latest in the series from developer 4A Games that sees the action take place above ground for the very first time. The key art concept was established by the agency (Ichi London) and I was tasked with creating the final high resolution image. A huge amount of retouching and compositing was required, combining game assets with real world photography to create the scene. I heavily retouched and reconstructed the clean, undamaged base models of the buildings creating new textures and damage effects. Snow and lighting effects were then carefully crafted over the entire scene to create the required look and feel.
