From Richard Hoffman's notes: "The Bicentennial Freedom Train set up in the city parking lot on Riverside Drive at Adams Ave. Train tracks were laid across the West end of the lot and connected to the main line tracks that parallel Riverside Dr. The train was a traveling display of American History memorabilia during the Bicentennial." Video also includes footage of President Ford making a campaign speech on the Mid-America Mall in the summer of 1976.
