  2. Watch the orginal video “Schiller - Lichtermeer” here from germany:

    And internationally here:

The shoot was based on Frank´s genius Light Emitting Dudes idea which some of you will already know:

We shot this 3 weeks ago in Bangkok for about a period of 10 days and edited within one week.
We shot all in RAW, converted it to Pro Res Quicktime and edited it Premiere Pro CS6 on Macbook Pros.

We can say that the two GH3 connected with the new Timelapse function and the ultra-strong low-light capabilities in hand with the Low-Light lenses we used make them very capable for shootings like this.

Since we did not have a lot of light with us, we shot mainly with available light in the night.

If you are interested in working like us you can write us for a workshop at your place or you have a look here for the 2&3 March in Dresden, Germany:

    Deutsche Version

Seht das Original “Schiller - Lichtermeer” video im Deutschen Raum unter diesem Link:

    Internationale User bitte hier:

  4. Yonder Blue Films is a production company based near Atlanta, Georgia that produces content worldwide. One of our favorite services we offer is low altitude aerials with a remote controlled multirotor helicopter. This demo reel contains some highlights from past shoots. We've recently filmed for "Dumb and Dumber To" and a Michael Bay production (footage not shown here, both projects to be released in theaters in 2014).

We film for advertisements, TV, and feature films. If you'd like to learn more, visit our website: YonderBlueFilms.com
Or follow us here: facebook.com/YonderBlueFilms twitter.com/YonderBlueFilms

We use the best equipment available. These scenes were filmed with Panasonic cameras mounted on either a Vulcan or Cinestar frame. Our batteries are supplied by MaxAmps (maxamps.com). The camera gimbal is made of parts from FreeFly and RC Rotors And Aerial Media. We use a Hoverfly Pro flight controller with Futaba radios.

Please note that all people featured were willing participants. Appropriate safety measures were taken. Don't fly near people unless you have the experience to do so. Never fly over crowds. Fly safe!

Feel free to ask any questions in the comments.

    All the best,
    Yonder Blue Films

  5. This summer, two friends and myself all left our comfortable jobs of six years to spend two months traveling across the country and teaching photography workshops along the way. We all felt that it was time to take a risk and get out of our comfort zones... adventure was calling us. It was a trip filled with endless hours cooped up in a van, exploring breathtaking landscapes, sharing stories and laughs, meeting some of the nicest people, making new friends, getting to meet old friends from around the country, and sharing our love of photography with others.

This trip was a constant test for me, as we had such short and limited time in nearly all of the spots we visited. In most cases, I'd have to hurry out of the van with all of my gear and find a decent composition in a very short amount of time as soon as we would arrive at the location. It was a constant race against the light.

During those 2 months, we traveled across 32 states , visited 13 national and state parks, and drove nearly 13,000 miles in a (somewhat) trusty old Dodge Caravan... with no cruise control. It was an adventure that gave us many memories that we will all hold onto for many years to come. I think that everybody needs to take a trip and have their eyes opened to just how beautiful this world is and how much is really out there.

A big thanks to Coca-Cola and Flickr for helping to sponsor our trip. Thanks also to everyone else that donated, attended our workshops, and gave us places to stay!
