This film is the result of studies done by Surfari through academic e market research, based in primary and secondary data.
The film: Much is said about surfing but little is known about the activity and its adherents. The fact is that over the past six decades the sport/hobby/lifestyle has become a major influencer of youth culture worldwide. The behavior and consumer habits of the surfers, and mainly of the aspirational buyers, formed a booming market, and this reflects the cultural events, priorities and goals of those who orbit that culture.
Surfari: Halfway between a web-based business and a projects enterprise, Surfari aims to provide communication solutions for culture and sports. The website provides the relationship and understanding of the public who lives boardsports, and that dialogue turns into audiovisual and editorial projects that are relevant to the audience and other companies. We are, therefore, a translator of this public to, mostly, non-endemic markets.
In this film we use various content over which we have no copyrights and we have no intention of offending any artist or organization. Any request please contact by email: email@example.com.
We clearly drew some ideas from the video "We All Want to Be Young ', from BOX1824. Thanks for the inspiration.

Ryan Tatar has made a name for himself with his lo fi photographs using expired or cross-processed film that depict simpler times. Originally from Michigan, he now resides in San Francisco and is busy with international photo exhibitions and editorial and advertising clients when not working at one of the most well known computer companies in the world. In this episode of D-I-Why Not?, Ryan breaks down the basics of analogue photography while on a road trip with Cyrus Sutton and Foster Huntington last summer.

Developed in 1933, the surf mat has been one of the more undercover alternative surf crafts providing surfers with an exhilarating, fast ride for years, turning seemingly bad waves into a more than worthwhile session. What most people don't realize is that while they may not be designed for high-flying aerial antics like a body board, they are however, high performance wave riding vehicles, allowing for super fast speed runs along the perfect trim spot that each ridden wave offers.
In this episode of Surf Sufficient, shaper/surfer Daniel Thomson shares some tips on how to optimize your ride. Changing the internal pressure of the mat by squeezing and gripping the fabric, the rider can alter the thickness, buoyancy and rocker, therefore changing speed and control of the mat.
The air pressure is the key. A surf mat requires less air in smaller, flatter waves and a bit more air in larger more powerful waves. However, experienced mat riders prefer to ride a softer inflation as doing this allows the mat to run faster over the water. A mat rider can experience many different levels of riding performance by simply adjusting the mats air pressure between rides.
