This project is a story within a film I'm developing titled "Secret of Jeremiah Valley". It is set in the fictional Jeremiah Valley National Forrest where a couple looking to getaway from their daily city life, stumble upon a young girl lost in the Forrest.
Usually when I develop a script I like to have table reads to get a sense of whether or not the script is working. This was my first time actually taking the time and shooting a short based on the script. Not only was this a great opportunity to workout the kinks on what it would take, from the production side, to make this movie happen. But It gave me a great insight on what would make the story better.
This is what we did in two days. With a four person crew and dedicated actors and family to help out.
I want to thank Brandon Cole from Midas Mount,http://midasmount.com/, without the SnapFocus rig this would not have been possible.
