Rival Schools brought a game changing product to the market place when...
BioRad, a life science research and development company, commissioned Rival Schools to invigorate current product perceptions and increase market share by developing a sales app and companion website for their NGC chromatography machine.
Rival Schools designed the app and website as a rich interactive experience, emphasizing the seamlessness with which users can incorporate BioRad technologies into their laboratory.
The experience opens with a signature animation to provide a high level introduction of the product to the users.
On both the app and web experience, we incorporated seamless animation in the UX design. Our intention was to allow the user to move through the experience in a linear fashion, while providing an option to dig deeper into each feature, through the use of animated hot spots and informative call outs.
The entire BioRad project was done in house from the design of the 3D animation of the feature video to the native xCode development of the iOS app to the Ajax and HTML5 development of the website.
This project truly encompasses all the capabilities of Rivals Schools from conception to deployment.
This video was made for the purpose of evaluating and reviewing the capabilities of the Rival Schools in consideration for the development of the CBC Wild Canada interactive book and companion website .
The brief was to create a 'cinematic' video game to be bundled with Puma Urban Motion Fragrance. We created a live action mini-game with graphics based on dance videos. All visual elements were shot and created in-house, including com positing, 3D and original footage. Back-end execution included a custom built Flash engine. The final output was a PC/MAC friendly CD-Rom that functioned with a third party peripheral dance mat as the gameplay device.
