  2. Fear Palace is a final studio project from my first year at the Dynamic Media Institute at Massachusetts College of Art & Design. My goal for the project was to create a science-fiction influenced environment where someone can face what they are afraid of using a dynamic system of lighting and projections.

The Art of Furniture class is a part of the Certificate Program in Furniture Design through the Professional and Continuing Education at MassArt.

In this studio shop course, students initiate and are guided through a hands-on design/build project based on fundamental tenets of furniture design. The woodshop is a beautiful and grand space that inspires the students to get creative and produce unique furniture objects. Some students have returned several times to take advantage of the variety of tools and machines in order to make their own work.

The class is co-taught by Judith Hansen, a sculptor and furniture designer, and Peter Thibeault, an industrial designer.

    ABOUT MassArt ----------------------------------------------

Massachusetts College of Art and Design (MassArt) is a publicly-funded college of visual and applied art. It is one of the oldest art schools, the only publicly-funded free-standing art school in the United States, and was the first art college in the United States to grant an artistic degree.

  4. Taking not too serious leaps while tip toeing on the edge about everything and nothing without a point and purpose. I mean it would be nice if we really could grow forever, but what if infinite growth on a finite planet is a fairy tale? Maybe it's hard to see if you already grow at such an exhilarating speed. Nonsense facts mixed with history and a political opinion form an abstract narrative on three independent but interwoven levels. Or simply: the most schizophrenic thing I could come up with.
