What do you do if someone asks you a tough question in your Life Group? Can you serve alcohol during your group meetings? How do you answer controversial theological questions? Should you watch Rated R movies on an outing with your group?
This short video will give you some key principles to help know when to give DECISIVE black and white answers and when you should leave room to DISCERN gray situations based on key biblical guidelines.
INVITE YOUR GROUP TO OUR APPRENTICE TRAINING - On Sunday, October 6th @ 5:30pm we will have a fun night specifically to train apprentices of Life Groups or those who want to be Life Group Assistants in your group. If you don't have an apprentice or co-leader in your group yet, this is your chance to cast vision and ask who is interested. Every group should have at least 1 person at this event. Dinner and childcare provided.
Use this link to let us know who in your group will make it. You can also send this by email to your group: http://tinyurl.com/qdr8bfk
CONTINUING YOUR GROUP NEXT SEMESTER - One of our goals is that 80% of our groups this semester continue meeting in the Spring Semester. This will help relationships to deepen and spiritual growth to happen better. You can still take a 6 week break (Mid Dec - Feb), but then either continue in your topic or start a new curriculum. Pray about this and talk to your group about making a continuation plan.
If you need a break next semester or want to start a different group, please try to raise up a leader in your group that will be able to continue it next Spring. We love you and are praying for you! Your team leaders will follow up with you regarding this email. Let us know if you have any questions.
