Let's get personal for a change. This is the trailer for my first film, a 74' music documentary I made from 2001 to 2005 after an 11-year radio silence with my father who was in California while I was in Europe. I went back looking for a man who had been my hero as a flamenco and folk singer-guitarist, and I found a man who had taken up flamenco dancing when he was over 50. My goal was to portray his love for sharing culture beyond all frontiers, strengthened by the love between him and his wife Elena, who had become a dancer in turn. In fact, making this film turned into a way of coming to terms with the feeling that he was now stampeding my memories with every "taconeo".
If you like what you see, please let me know. If enough people like what they see, I've been toying with the idea of distributing the film, i.e; via CreateSpace VOD. It's in your hands now!
