Punjab Youth Festival 2012 is announcing the Blended Learning Teaching Competition. Blended learning refers to a mixing of different learning environments. It combines traditional face-to-face classroom methods with computer-mediated activities.
BLOSSOMS (Blended Learning Open Source Science or Math Studies) http://blossoms.mit.edu/ is an initiative of MIT (Massachusetts Institute of Technology) and LINC (Learning International Networks Consortium) to promote e-learning by joint effort of educators from Pakistan, Jordon and Networks. The objective of BLOSSOMS is to create a large free and open video library contributed by volunteer teachers. Initially video modules developed in five areas of mathematics, engineering, physics, biology and chemistry.
