I spent four months at Downstream, a Portland based interactive studio, creating animated content for Johnson Controls Executive Briefing Center. Here’s a reel highlighting some of my work on the project.
Advances in OLED (organic light-emitting diode) technology will transform the home with glowing walls and windows replacing single-point light sources, according to Dietmar Thomas of Philips Lumiblade.
Matching business needs with innovative culture, Potion created the award-winning interactive digital gallery for the lobby of HP's Executive Briefing Center in Cupertino, California. Replacing HP's static signage, Potion's six interactive projections on glass seamlessly blend in with their environment, appearing to hover in midair, constantly refreshing and reacting to the people in the space. By simply shifting their body in front of the headlines, clients can browse exclusive HP stories, view new product releases, and catch up on news, all in high definition. Potion’s custom content management system enables HP staff to easily add, edit, schedule, and synchronize content on each display, keeping experiences fresh and relevant on a day-to-day basis for a company where current information is key to business. Potion worked with the Brand Union to create this dynamic space, which was honored by the Fortune 500 companies of the ABPM as the Best Single Space of 2010.
