'Why Did Mrs X Die, Retold' is a short educational animation that follows the unfortunate journey of one pregnant mother, Mrs X. The film highlights the need for safe motherhood and outlines the issues surrounding maternal mortality.
The film was a remake of the 1988 WHO film, 'Why Did Mrs X Die?', based on a lecture by Prof Mahmoud Fathalla. It was remade in 2012 by the educational charity Hands On For Mothers And Babies
