an iDAT301 project by Ben Quinney, Chris Tough, Jessi Dimmock, Luke Wotton, Sam Billingham and Gemma Bastin.
We ripped apart an old Bush TV80 and put an arduino board with light and sound sensors, and a strobe light & speakers connected.
The idea for our arduino project is to use light and sound sensors to detect when a room is empty (aka when people have turned off the lights at the end of the day and no one’s around) then to start playing music and flashing lights! It’s a party for the ghosts.
If lights and music are on, but there’s no one around to dance, is it really a party?
