Dr. John Green, Dr. Noelani Apau-Ludlum and Dr. Terry Shintani were also on-hand to discuss many pertinent concerns for our families in attendance.   5. Nutritional supplements have been used for decades in children with autism. Dr. Rossignol will review the current medical literature and focus on supplements that have been proven to help behavior in children with autism. He will also discuss how to calculate the evidence behind each treatment so that parents can use supplements that are best proven to help.

    Dr. Dan Rossignol received his Doctorate of Medicine at the Medical College of Virginia and completed his residency in family medicine at the University of Virginia. Coming from an academic background, Dr. Rossignol searched the medical literature looking for a solution after both of his children were diagnosed with autism. He has made it his mission to research and publish in autism. In the last 5 years, he has published 23 articles and 3 book chapters concerning autism.
