1. by John Weldon — 1990

Blending fantasy and reality, this animated short is a bold inquiry into an as yet unresolved problem - the nature of human identity. When a scientist creates a machine that can make copies of physical objects, including humans, a number of ethical questions arise. Is the technique moral? What of its safety? A film by Oscar-winning filmmaker John Weldon (who also wrote the catchy banjo tune that punctuates the story's changing moods).

  2. In 2004, the Tsunami that hit Sri Lanka killed 8 members of this small fishing family. And yet today, they still fish (either on stilts or in a boat) because they have to do it to survive. The family lives in a small, makeshift hut with a back "window" that opens onto the ocean -- the same sea that gives life also takes it away.

  5. by John Weldon — 1991

This animated short tells the story of a short and unattractive man who develops an inert but highly attractive lump on top of his head. By simply buttoning his shirt over his face he changes his life! An animated parody on the superficiality of those qualities that lead to popularity and power.

We have just done our first project : the main titles for FIU bcn, that is is an event created with the aim of propelling quality projects in the hands of creative new generations. The place where students looking for inspirations and references may address their concerns for the future, as well as a hub where companies interested in the creative-hunting can discover the great creative talent. The event was yesterday at DHUB (Barcelona!) and we want to share it with all of you!
Just take a look and get fun! :)
