Animal Makers has been working on this 12' long velociraptor suit for approximately 8 weeks. It's almost ready for the client to pick up. One of our crew volunteered to go inside the suit and show off some moves. The suit should operate much more when a suit performer is cast and trained up. This suit features a number of improvements over anything else commercially available. There is a digital sound repeater with amplifier to deliver breathing sounds and velociraptor calls. Also included is a set of cooling fans and internal lights to keep the performer comfortable. The head and neck offer movements on five different axis. Skin detail was achieved by using a silicone screening process which has been developed here. The suit weighs in at 80 pounds, with the boots adding about ten pounds each.
